Project Overview

Project background

At a time when the Fin-tech storm is sweeping, the integration of technology into more financial business scenarios has given traditional brokerage more technological innovation and possibilities. Securities investment advisors can use new technologies to match standardized inclusive services to users, continuously expand the service radius and improve service efficiency.

Problem statement

In the traditional way, investment advisors can only share their investment views to clients through telephone, WeChat, and offline salon meetings. This approach is not conducive to an investment advisor serving multiple clients at the same time and is very inefficient.

Solution

The emergence of the online investment advisor platform in the operating website has solved these confusions for investment advisors.The investment advisors can publish advisory services products, and directly interact with customers online. The main types of investment advisor products supported by the operating website include: live graphic, daily view, simulated portfolio, investment advisor tips, online Q&A, video courses and trading circles.They can also visually view their sales volume and amount statistics for these products on the website.

Project Results

The 200+ registered investment advisors of the security firm I work for have been 100% enrolled in the platform to provide online services. Each advisor publishes 1-2 views every day, and updates the tips and portfolios at least once a week. Among them, the participation rate of investor live broadcast is as high as 92.69%, and the response rate of investment advisor interaction is nearly 60%. The service efficiency has been further improved.

Reflections

What did I learn?

 Design

- Designing an enterprise product  and financial operating website for professional investment advisors requires familiarity with their work flow and strong logic thinking to simplify the user flows and clear visual hierarchy.


- During the process, I practiced design forms, error handling, and responsive design.

 Communication

- A financial product is not easy to understand for people without domain knowledge. Using storytelling skills to write scenarios can help.
- Always prepare solid reasons to articulate my design with the team.
